DEPLOYMENT
I won the
initiative roll, and decided to choose to get the last turn. Andy took the side
and let me deploy first :)
Have to say
I failed absolutely setting up my Alguaciles. I was considering to cover the
whole side of the table with the Alguacil Sniper, but finally I passed and
placed him ready to climb to the roof of one of the two floor buildings.

TURN 1 Acontecimiento
The first
turn, Andy focused on reduce my order pool. He took advantage on my
conservative deployment to took down my Alguaciles Fireteam one by one using
his Tikbalang and Bulleteer. He also got read of the sentry remotes.
TURN 1 Corregidor
My turn was
decided by the Jaguar. I tried to cover with smoke the attack of the Intruder,
and was successfull at first attempt, so far I decided to go ahead and try to
shot down the Tikbalang. First shot was 16s, and I got only two hits, one
wound. Tikbalang move backwards to gain cover. Then the Intruder shot the
Bulleteer, killing it. A possible mistake was not to pursue the Tikbalang, and
spend orders in to positioning Mc Murrough. On top of this, I decided to let
the sentry remotes untouched, and this afterwards pinned down Wildcat Fireteam,
not allowing them to move to menace Tikbalang properly.
TURN 2
Acontecimiento
Tikbalang
seek payback and killed the Intruder and Jaguar (both were placed to ARO the
TAG). Nor the HMG or the smoke granades worked. Andy decided to move his troops
in order to heal the TAG and receive McMurrough
TURN 2 Nomads
With the Intruder KO, that was time for McMurrough. Altough wounded by a fortunate ARO of the regular hacker, he managed the throwing of a smoke grenade to eliminate the near Fugazi Dronbot. Later on, he moved to kill the Regular Spitfire and the Regular Hacker. Double Chain Rifle kill the hacker and put the Spitfire KO. In return, all 4 shots hit the Dog Warrior and eliminate him. I just drop down the Fireteam from 5 to 3, but the Spitfire was near the Trauma Doc and I could not try to kill Andy's Lieutenant (that was surely a regular Regular XD).
TURN 3
Acontecimiento
Andy moved
his Tikbalang again to compromise my order pool. At that point, was clear that
the Wildcat was the lieutenent. He managed to kill that Wildcat, but the
Transductor Zond blocked the TAG using the Flash Pulse.
Then, he
moved his Nagas. The one leaving my killer hacker Control zone died in the
Bandit ARO. Probably, Andy wasn't aware that the specialist kills were
important, and that only specialists could control de Armoury. I just took this
move as a risk to save some orders...
Finally, he
moved the remaining regulars to protect the Armoury.
TURN 3
Nomads
I started
my last turn in Loss of Lieutenant. That make a difficult situation turned on a
real challenge. First of all, we update mission status: Andy got 1pt per
Threatening my panoply, 1pt per secondary objective, 1pt per killing army
points and 3pts per controlling the armory. I had 1pt per secondary objective,
2 pts per killing more specialist troopers. That meant 6-3 for Andy.
My options
were 3: First, try to kill the Tikbalang with the Wildcat Rocket Launcher and
Jaguar Panzerfaust (using Fire and EXP, will be difficult but not impossible).
Second, infiltrate my TomCat behind the HVT to threaten Andy's panoply without
activating the mine he left on turn 1. An finally, use a command token to spent
2 orders (his own and another) on Bandit to enter into the Armoury.
The first
temptative didn't work. While Wildcat won the Face to Face, and inflicted
1Wound, fire didn't work and Tikbalang survived with only 1 Wound. The Jaguar
died, in the mean time...
Tomcat
appeared, and Andy's mine couldn't be activate without killing the HVT, so far,
the Tomcat scored 1 extra pt threatening his panoply.
And
finally, the Bandit should arrive to the Armoury in two orders. That implied
this guy should make a first Move-Move order and take Naga ARO from the Armoury
inside. Later on, he should enter into the room and shot the Naga (receiving a
Regular ARO in the mean time). If Bandit kill the Naga, I would win 4-3 (Bandit
dies also) or 7-3 (Bandit survives). If the Naga survives, I could still won if
the Bandit survives as well.
The Bandit
moved, Naga failed the shot. Then the Bandit moved, the Acontecimiento Regular,
shocked by his bravery, rolled a 20 and 20 in his ARO (cool!). Then, everything
was to be decided in the last roll of the last turn. Not bad for a guy with 4
irregular minis on the table :P
Bandit with
his shotgun has 2 shots at 15s. Naga has a single shot at 12s. Dice rolled and
Naga got 11. Bandit, unfortunately, rolled 10 and 9. Last Armour roll was
decissive. If Bandit survives, I won. But a 4 in the dice gave Andy the final
6-2 (being a Hacker, he tied the specialist casualties objective).
